Joseph Stephen Simpson

Age 49, of Pavilion, NY passed away at home on October 27, 2019.

He was born October 15, 1970 in Warsaw, son of the late Stephen Simpson and Wendy McKinsey Simpson of Bliss. Joe worked for twenty-seven years as a feed specialist with Castile Ag Service. In earlier years he was employed at Letchworth State Park. Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving along with his mother are his wife, Joann Rumsey Simpson, whom he married on April 19, 1997; his children, Mackenzie Simpson of Pavilion and Ashton Simpson of Pavilion; his brother, Jeffrey Simpson of Bliss; sister, Stephenie (Matt) Soltez of Washington, PA; nephew, Ian Soltez; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call Saturday, November 2 from 1 – 4 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Joe’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 4 PM. Private burial will be in Lyonsburg Cemetery, Bliss at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be used for the benefit of Joe’s children.
