Jeff Hackemer

Warsaw, age 59 died June 9, 2020 at his home with family by his side.

Jeff was born in Warsaw on October 9, 1960 the son of the late Jack and Dorothy Jordan Hackemer. He graduated from Warsaw Central High School, class of 1979. He worked for the Town of Warsaw for 33 years before retiring in 2019. He was a member of the Eagle Garden Tractor Pullers Association for over 18 years as a puller, sled owner and operator. His real love was spending time with family and his grandson Jack. He was always there to help anyone who needed it.

Jeff is preceded in death by his wife Barb Hargrave. He is survived by his children Nathan (Mary) Hackemer of Williamsville, NY and Jillian (Steven) Hackemer-Murdoch of Tonawanda, NY, three brothers Jay (Mary Anne) Hackemer of Warsaw, Glenn (Betsy) Hackemer of Denver, CO, Dean (Kara) Hackemer of Fairfax, VA, a sister Beth (George) Del Vecchio of Lenox, MA, brother-in-law Dale (Wendie) Hargrave of Holley , his grandson Jack Hackemer and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will take place in Warsaw Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on June 20, 2020 at his residence from 1-4 where a service will be held at 1:00 pm.
