Ethel Mae Weeks

Ethel Mae Weeks went to be with our Lord on June 23, 2016 in Arizona. She was 98 years old. Ethel was the daughter of the late Theodore Cummings and Bertha Jewett. She was pre-deceased by her husband Donald Weeks in 1999 and her son Gordon Weeks in 2006.

Ethel is survived by her grandchildren, Supon, David and Debra; nephew Garland Cummings of Webster; many great nieces, great nephews, great grandchildren and great great nieces and nephews. Ethel was a lifelong member of the Portageville Baptist Church. She wrote for the Nunda News and the Perry Herald. She was a volunteer at the former Nunda Community Hospital, a member of the Red Cross and the Board of Elections. Grave side burial will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 11 AM at Portageville Cemetery, East Koy Rd., Portageville followed by Ethel?s memorial service at Portageville Baptist Church with a luncheon to follow. All family and friends are welcome to attend. Local arrangements are being completed by Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, Castile.
