Esther L. Herman

Age 92, of Perry, NY, passed away at her home with family by her side on February 4, 2021.

She was born May 5, 1928 in Warsaw, daughter of the late George and Luella Schrader Crane. Esther was a graduate of Warsaw High School and was employed as a sales representative for the Gibney Monument Works in Perry for many years. In earlier years, she was an avid reader and enjoyed canning and playing cards.

Esther was predeceased by her husband, Paul Herman who passed away in 2018 and her son Robert.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen (Gary) Thompson of Perry, Laura (Mark Jischke) Lachance of Rochester; her daughter-in-law, Arna (Tom) Schabloski of Warsaw; her sister, Ramona (Bob) Youngers of Canandaigua; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard Crane and Betty (Joseph) Samsel.

Friends may call Saturday, February 13 from 2 – 4 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Esther’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 4 PM. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Wethersfield Springs at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Due to Covid 19 precautions, the funeral home is limited to 33% capacity and facemasks are required.
