Donald Eugene Seyerle

Age 77, of Warsaw, passed away on December 16, 2021 at the Buffalo VA Medical Center.

He was born April 22, 1944 in Rochester, NY to the late Eugene and Florence Seyerle. Don graduated from East High School in Rochester and received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northeastern University. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Europe. Don worked for Monroe County as a social worker and was also a published poet who wrote two books.

Along with his parents, Don is predeceased by his stepmother, Elizabeth Seyerle.

Don is survived by his longtime friend and fiancée, Jeanne Gomez; Jeanne’s daughter, Rosa Gomez; Jeanne’s nieces, Teagan Mathes and Clare Mathes.

A graveside service will take place in the Western New York National Cemetery in Pembroke at a later date.
