Delma V. Wolcott

Age 96, of Attica, NY, formerly of Pike, NY, passed away on October 17, 2021.

She was born on March 9, 1925 in New Hudson Center, NY, daughter of the late Herman and Roberta Wixson Luce. Delma, with her husband Llewellyn, owned and operated Wolcott’s Red & White in Pike for many years. She was a member of the Hunt-Stout American Legion Auxiliary in Pike. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Stebbins Chapter in Pike.

Delma was predeceased by her husband, Llewellyn who passed in 2001; her son, David Wolcott, and her siblings, Merilee Luce Wolcott, Erma Jane Luce Wolcott, Trenwith Young and LaNeta Kyser.

She is survived by, her son, Kevin Wolcott of VA; her daughters, Jean Wolcott Remington Willis of Pike, Joann (Jerry) Algier of FL, Jill Wolcott of Attica; sister, Dorothea Peet of GA; sister-in-law, Dawn Young of Belfast, NY; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours. A private burial will be in the Union Park Cemetery, Wethersfield, NY at a date to be determined in May 2022.

Memorials may be made to the Hunt-Stout American Legion Auxiliary, Pike, NY or the Stebbins Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Pike, NY or the Pike Fire Dept/Rescue Squad, Pike, NY.
