Clifford H. Straw

Age 76, of Pike, NY passed away peacefully on March 9, 2015 at his home.

He was born September 27, 1938 in Buffalo, NY son of the late Tracy and Rose Straw. Cliff worked for over thirty years at Kittinger Furniture Company in Castile. He then worked for the Gunlocke Company until his retirement. He enjoyed walking and working at Letchworth State Park and was part of the Green Thumb program at the park.

Cliff was a foster parent through the Hillside Agency for sixteen years and he and his wife, Sharon decided to name their home the ?Eagle?s Nest?. He loved sports, especially sporting events that involved watching his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Greene Straw; his children, Lisa (Kevin) Miskell of Livonia, Angenette Bacon (Dave Allen) of Gainesville, Loretta Butler (Eric) of Pike, Jason Straw (Chloe) of Pike, Sarena Straw of Pike; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14 at 1 PM at the Pike Community Church. Memorials may be made to the Letchworth State Park Nature Center by going to http://www.letchworthnaturecenter.org and clicking on donate. Arrangements are being completed by Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, Castile.
