Clifford "Butch" Mower

Age 66 of Warsaw, passed away on April 21, 2022, at his home.

He was born on December 17, 1955, in Warsaw, NY, son of the late Clifford and Hellen Courtox Mower. Shortly after graduating from Warsaw Central High School, Cliff joined the Army Reserve and was a veteran of the National Guard as well, serving from 1976-81. He would later work as a handyman for the ARC in Mt. Morris, NY.

Cliff enjoyed participating in the Peers Helping Peers social group and playing cards but mostly loved visiting with people and spreading joy to anyone he could.

Along with his parents, Cliff is predeceased by sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Jim Merrill.

Cliff is survived by his son, Clifford Mower Jr.; his sisters, Maryann (Dean Manning) Hare of Max Meadows, VA, Sue (Kevin) Tucker of Arcade, Mel (Guy) Brunner of Warsaw, Roxanne (Sean Beagle) Mower of Bliss; his brothers, Raymond Mower of Varysburg, Joe (Dawn) Mower of North Pole, AK; his significant other, Judy; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held for Cliff at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Warsaw, on April 29, 2022, at 10 AM. Cliff’s burial will be held immediately following mass at Warsaw Cemetery.
