Bonita R. "Bonnie" Rissinger

Age 88, of Warsaw, passed away on March 28, 2022 in Annapolis, MD while visiting her daughter, where Bonnie spent her winters.

She was born April 28, 1933 in Short Tract, NY to the late Morris and Ruth Van Duser Voss. Bonnie was a graduate of Wyoming Central class of 1950. She was employed at Archway Cookies for 7 years then went on to work as a teller/clerk at the Bank of Castile in Castile for over 14 years, retiring in 1995.

Bonnie was a 4H leader for 10 years and member of the former Hermitage Grange in her earlier years. Later on in life she became a member of the Mary Jemison Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Rock Glen Baptist Church.

Bonnie is predeceased by her husband, Clifford L. Rissinger whom she married October 18, 1952. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Everett “Jack” Voss, Alvin “Sonnie” Voss, Murray Voss, Lawrence Voss, Grace Milliman, Melrose Harrington, and Melva Beaumont.

She is survived by her children, Wayne Rissinger of Tampa, FL, Dale (Sharon) Rissinger of Pavilion, Lee Rissinger of Clearfield, UT, Jon (Galina) Rissinger of Brockport, Judy Ryan of Annapolis, MD; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Warsaw Rescue Squad, PO Box 22, Warsaw, NY 14569.
