Bernard L. Hebert

Age 91, of Gainesville, passed away on December 8, 2022 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

He was born on January 4, 1931 in Chicopee, MA to the late Leo J. and Mary S. Gautreau Hebert. Bernard worked as a truck driver and mechanic for many years, lastly at Arkansas Best Freight in Manheim, PA. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.

Bernard enjoyed motorsports, especially stock car racing and motorcycling, and was a big Nascar fan.

He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Gordon Hebert.

Surviving are his children, Dave Fagan of Gainesville, Marty (Ann) Fagan of Etowah, TN, Cathleen Tiner of San Diego, CA, Denae (Richard) Rivers of Baltimore, MD, Scott (Randy Haywood) Hebert of Rochester; stepdaughter, Tanya Powell of Apopka, FL; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

At Bernard’s request there will be no services.
