Barbara J. Moore

Age 87, of Pike, passed away on October 22, 2021 at Wyoming County Community Hospital.

Barbara was born on September 26, 1934 in Pike, NY, daughter of the late John and Alta Powers Rowe. She was co-owner and operator of Rolling Acres Golf Course and Campground in Pike, NY, for many years with her late husband, Carl Moore. Barbara was treasurer of the Pike Fire Department Ladies Auxillery, a Cub Scout leader and 4-H leader. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, sewing and knitting.

Barbara is survived by her children, Carla Moore of Charlottesville, VA, Robin (late Douglas) Winters of Rochester, NY, Robert (Betsy) Moore of Clifton, VA, Paula (Dave) Coleman of Arcade, NY, Paul (Sue) Moore of Pike, NY, and John (Susanne) Moore of Warsaw, NY; her sister, Brenda (Al) Milillo of Castile, NY; her long-time companion, Dean Richards of Arcade, NY; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
