Rosemary C. Johnson

Age 86, of Warsaw, passed away on November 23, 2017 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born May 7, 1931 in Rochester, NY, daughter of the late Raymond F. and Irene Mayer Johnson. Rosemary was employed as a coupler for the Ball Rubber Company in Batavia for several years. Rosemary’s life revolved around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-five years, Carlyle M. Johnson whom she married on May 31, 1952; her children, Gail (Ronald) Garvey of Lancaster, Kim (Robert) Smith of Warsaw, Lyle P. Johnson of Florida; her grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Bridget Smith, Rebecca (Shane) Sundt, Steven (Mary) Garvey, Scott Garvey, Christopher Garvey, Sarah (Jason) Kline, Kristine Johnson; great grandchildren, Bronson Smith, Logan and Mason Sundt, Ava and Casey Garvey, Anthony and Jay Kline, Kaylie and Johnny; several nieces and nephews. She was the great grandmother of the late Alexandra Ferguson and sister of the late Robert, Ethel, Mildred, Walter, Shirley, Irene and Raymond.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 29 from 1 – 3 & 5 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Rosemary’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 7 PM. Memorials may be made to the family.
