Robert Eugene Haskins

December 19, 1939 - March 26, 2018

Age 78, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Warsaw, passed away on March 26, 2018 under hospice care with his loving family beside him at home after a 3 year battle with cancer.

Robert was born December 19, 1939 in Duke Center, PA. He graduated from Portville Central School in 1959 and proceeded into the Armed Services for 3 years with honorable discharge.

He worked his entire life in the grocery business, which he enjoyed, along with hunting and spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly; two siblings, Joseph Haskins of Rochester and Patricia Fritts of FL; children, Marie (Douglas) Nolan of FL, Robert (Brenda) Haskins of Mt. Morris, Michele (Lance) Byrd of Buffalo; daughter-in-law, Rhonna (Rich) Grasby of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Nicole (Ronald) Smith, Danielle (Adam) Serianni, Farrah (Nathan) Nolan, Robert Haskins, Brittany Haskins, Kaitlyn Haskins, Hannah Haskins, Michael Haskins, Audrie Haskins, Joshua Byrd; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, James and Frances Bortz Haskins; son, Alan James Haskins; granddaughter, Melissa Renee Nolan.

Friends may call Saturday, March 31, from 10am – 12pm at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Robert’s memorial service will be held immediately after at 12pm. Burial will be made in Elmwood Cemetery in Silver Springs at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Care of the donor’s choice.
