Irene Mildred Jaworski

May 16, 1926 - May 14, 2019

Irene Mildred Jaworski, of Warsaw, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at WCCH SNF. She was born in Rochester, NY on May 16, 1926.

Irene was predeceased by her Husband, Walter Jaworski in November 2018 who she married on March 4, 1947. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Ann, who passed away when she was 3 years old. She was a devoted military wife that spent many miles of road along with her Coast Guardsman. She enjoyed many duty positions and locations building a bond that span over 71 years of marriage.

Irene loved her family very much and was famous for her Irene burgers. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, drawing, and spending time with her family. She made friends easily and was devoted to anyone who she met. She had a gift with how she made others feel good about themselves. She was a very kind, sweet, loving, and genuine lady who loved whole-heartedly. One of her fondest memories is spending a year living at the Nubble Beach Lighthouse in Portland, ME after she and her husband were married.
She is survived by her children and spouses; Gail(Vincent) Hodgdon of Warsaw, Terrie(Paul Sr.) Clark of Norfolk, VA; Grandchildren Barb(Mark) Lanni, Vince(Jenny) Hodgdon, Annmarie Hodgdon, Alyce(Natalie) Clark, and Paul Clark Jr.; Great Grandchildren Lyndsey, Dustin, Jeffrey, Jayden, Emily, Matthew, Nia, and Mia.

Calling hours are Friday May 17, 2019 from 11am-1pm with the funeral to follow at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home. Burial will be at the St. Michael’s cemetery in Warsaw with a reception to follow at the Valley Chapel Church in South Warsaw.
