Harold M. Harrison

July 21, 1925 - February 24, 2018

Age 92, of Perry, formerly of Johnsonburg, NY passed away on February 24, 2018 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

He was born July 21, 1925 in Farmersville, NY son of the late Fred and Nina Bush Harrison. Harold was a proud veteran of the US Army having served in the military police. He was employed for many years as a heat treater with Worthington Pump Company in Buffalo.

Harold enjoyed country music, hunting and playing cards. He grew up on a farm and never lost his love for farms. He enjoyed helping many area farmers and Harold loved spending time with his large and loving family.

Harold was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Cross Harrison who died on April 24, 2006.

Surviving are his children, Joe (Sharon) Burgio of East Aurora, Janice Burgio of Perry, Jane (Richard) Bell of North Carolina, Paul (Jo Ann) Harrison of Rydal, GA, Harold F. (Lynn) Harrison of Bliss, William (the late Tina) Harrison of Castile; eighteen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Harold was also predeceased by daughters, Phyllis (Tom) Robinson, Frances Harrison and sister, Ada Mae Roblee.

Friends may call Wednesday, February 28 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Harold’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 10 AM. A veteran’s memorial service will be held Wednesday at 5:45 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wyoming County Joint Veterans Council, 26 Linwood Ave., Warsaw, NY 14569.
