William A. Fagan

May 20, 1928 - September 17, 2018

Age 90, of Castile, NY passed away on September 17, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

He was born in Leicester, NY, son of the late Edward J. and Ellen Bovard Fagan. Bill was a lifelong farmer who owned and operated the Blue Vista Farm in Castile for almost thirty years prior to his retirement in 1992.

He was an avid hunter and sportsman. Bill loved spending time with his family and also spending time at his cabin. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Turkey Federation.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Betty Carney Fagan whom he married on March 19, 1955; his children, David (Linda) Fagan of Gainesville, Marty (Ann) Fagan of Etowah, Tenn., Linda (Jeff) Ferris of Castile, Timothy (Anita) Fagan of Bliss; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was the grandfather of the late Chad Jeffrey Ferris and brother of the late Seeley, Robert, Maurice, Donald, Walter, Thomas and Archie Fagan and the late Josephine Berry.

Friends may call Friday, September 21 from 1 ? 3 & 5 ? 8 PM and Saturday, September 22 from 10 ? 11 AM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Bill?s funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will be in Leicester Cemetery, Leicester, NY. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society or the Ronald McDonald House.
