Walter Jaworski

June 28, 1924 - November 24, 2018

Walter Jaworski, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at WCCH SNF Facility in Warsaw, NY. He is predeceased by his daughter Barbara Ann who passed away at 3 years old. He served in the United States Coast Guard from 1942-1948 and the United States Air Force from 1948-1962. He was in command of 11 Air Force Technicians on the successful launches of the Titan 1 Missile which were the first all Air Force launches(Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral, FL). Walter was honorably discharged in 1964 and worked as an electrician during his civilian life until retirement.

Surviving is his wife of 71 years, Irene (Katzenberger) whom he married on March 4, 1944 in South Portland, Maine. His children Gail (Vincent) Hodgdon, Terrie (Paul) Clark; his grandchildren Barbara (Mark) Lanni, Vincent (Jennifer) Hodgdon, Annmarie Hodgdon, Alyce (Natalie) Clark, Paul Clark Jr; his Great Grandchildren Lyndsey, Jeffrey, Jayden, Emily, Matthew, Nia, and Mia.
Private services will be held at Robinson and Hackemer in Warsaw, NY.
