Aunt Judi and family
So sorry for your loss of a husband, father and Grandfather. Keeping you all close in my thoughts and prayers. I always looked forward to seeing Uncle Russ and Aunt Judi on my morning walks to the park. They use to read their paper and have their morning coffee and donuts. And in earlier years, the awesome picnics we would have at the village park! RIP Russ

Jul 13.19 from Jim Stubley:

Aunt Judi and family,
I am deeply saddened by hearing about Russ/dad. I will always have a special place in my heart for uncle Russ. My favorite memories start when I was a 5-6 year old boy that ran up the street to eat dinner with Judi, Russ and family (oh the girls were babies) in the apartment at the corner of Liberty and Brooklyn. Hey what 5-6 year old doesn’t need 2 dinners a night?  Next was when I was maybe 10 years old or so riding on the snowmobile with uncle Russ… Yikes.. It was my thinking that Russ knew only one way to ride a snowmobile…”wide open”. Kind of like how he lived life.
I had a great chat with Russ at Grandma’s funeral…he was sad, remorseful about so many things in his life that he shared…I remember thinking…I love this guy! He Is not perfect, a little rough around the edges, but would give you the shirt off his back.
I wish you all peace in remembering him!
Love, Jim
