Robert R. Meyer

December 12, 1930 - September 22, 2018

Age 87, of Henrietta, NY formerly of Warsaw, passed away on September 22, 2018 at Highland Hospital in Rochester.

He was born December 12, 1930 in Sheldon, NY, son of the late Isidore and Eva Gasz Meyer. Bob owned and operated Milky Whey Farm in Warsaw for fifty years prior to his retirement in 2000. He was a longtime active member of St. Michael?s Church in Warsaw and was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. In later years, Bob was an active member of Guardian Angels Church in Henrietta.

Bob was a longtime member of Farm Bureau and was a 4-H leader for many years. He and his late wife Edna were members of the Wyco Promenaders square dancing group. He also was an accomplished woodworker.

Bob was predeceased by his wife Edna Meyer who passed away on February 20, 2002.

Surviving are his children, Steven (Barbara) Meyer of Gainesville, Timothy (Lori) Meyer of Warsaw, Linda Stellman of Henrietta, Sister Kathy Meyer (Consolata Missionary Sisters) of Kenya, Africa, Julie Meyer of Canaseraga, Raymond (Christine) Meyer of West Henrietta, David Meyer of Lancaster, Michael Meyer of Henrietta; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his sister, Ruth George of Fort Collins, Colo.; many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Meyer, William Meyer, James Meyer, Richard Meyer and Henrietta Romesser.

Friends may call Friday, September 28 from 9 ? 11 AM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Bob?s Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:30 AM at St. Michael?s Church, Warsaw. Private burial will be in St. Michael?s Cemetery, Warsaw.
