Jul 16.19 from Ron Kolodziej:

Ms. Rita,
I remember as Cub Scout Den Mother, and she was awesome Den Mother, and full of energy.
Very outgoing, and always displayed a cheerful personality. Extremely helpful in all aspects of Assumption R.C. Church activities.  I recall the many fund raisers she would participate, and when one time lend itself to reveal the amount of dollars that the Altar Rosary Society had a dinner, Rita would grab her purse and place four pennies to round up the highest dollar!  Of course, the audience would be in great laughter of joy.  I admire her stamina, and devotion to our beautiful congregation, and volunteering for community endeavours.
God Bless her beautiful soul.  Many a visit to Hamlin Beach State Park when she and Elmer would host the Vasile Steak Cook Outs-
the wonderful display of hospitality.
