Nancy L. Grisewood

September 14, 1942 - February 26, 2020

Age 77, of Warsaw, passed away on February 26, 2020 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born September 14, 1942 in Niagara Falls, NY daughter of the late Ernest and Maria Mossotti Longhini. Nancy worked at various jobs over the years as well as raising her family, but truly enjoyed her time as a nature instructor at Camp Sam Wood. She was active for many years in Boy Scouts. Nancy was a longtime active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Warsaw branch. She held various callings in the church and served as director of the Family History Center at the church where she enjoyed her work in geneology. Nancy loved children and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-six years, Gerald Grisewood whom she married June 29, 1963; her children, Michael (Becky) Grisewood of Warsaw, Wendy (Derek) Meyers of Little Elm, TX, Mark Grisewood of Warsaw, Susan (Scott) Klinkbeil of Retsof, Mary (David) Roberts of Attica, Aaron Grisewood of Warsaw; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Lana Bradbury of LeRoy, Madelyn (James) Stradford of Rogue River, OR, Joseph (Kate) Longhini of Dansville, Ronald (Melody) Longhini of Warsaw; several nieces and nephews. Nancy was the mother of the late Aime Grisewood and sister of the late Ernest Longhini.

Friends may call Saturday, February 29 from 9 – 11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Linwood Avenue Extension, Warsaw where Nancy’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 11 AM. Private burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery at a later date.

She was always like a ray of sunshine every time I met up with her. Always upbeat and fun to chat with.
