Marian H. Foster

May 30, 1929 - February 20, 2019

Marian Taber Holly Foster joined her parents, siblings and the blessed company of heaven on February 20, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 30, 1929 she was the second child of Harold A and Olga B Holly. A 1946 graduate of Ft. Hamilton High School, Marian enrolled in William Smith College in Geneva NY. It was there she met her future husband, Hobart student Bob Foster. After graduation they were married at Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw NY on August 19, 1950. In 1951 she moved to Warsaw, NY and in 1953 the first of her four children were arrived. High energy, voracious reader, accomplished painter and piano player, a stickler for detail and never afraid to ask the hard questions, she held a special fondness for the words of classic Anglican hymn?s. ??the body they may kill: God?s truth abideth still, His kingdom is forever..?

Surviving relatives include her four children - F. Bradley Foster of Richmond, VA, Wendy F. Clay of Groveland, NY, Barbara F. Borders of Franklin, TN and Winifred S. Foster-Gloor of Honeoye Falls, NY as well as grandchildren Perry E. Foster and Charlotte M. Foster of Denver, CO, Andrew W. Foster of Rochester, NY, Brooke Borders of Franklin TN, Finley and Taber Gloor of Honeoye Falls, NY as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church, 62 W. Buffalo St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
