Lyn A. Oliver

October 4, 1949 - July 15, 2019

Age 69, of Portageville, NY passed away at home on July 15, 2019.

She was born October 4, 1949 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Frank and Ann Mischka Mazur Oliver. In earlier years, Lyn was a licensed practical nurse at Buffalo Children’s Hospital. In more recent years, she owned and operated Lyn’s Life Boat Pet Shop in Portageville. She also was a hospitality worker at the Mt. Morris Dam and worked in customer service at the former Ames Department Store.

Lyn was an animal lover. She enjoyed time with her family and was a devoted grandmother.

Surviving are her daughter, Jenna (Carol Davis) Oliver of Portageville, grandchildren, Ariah Oliver and Adrianya Oliver; her brother, Frank (Martha) Oliver, Jr. of Holley; nephews, Jason (Michelle) Oliver of Irving, Jeremy Cartwright of Portageville; many cousins.

Friends may call Thursday, July 18 from 5 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Lyn’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 7 PM. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Portageville on Friday, July 19 at 9 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be placed in trust for Lyn’s grandchildren.
