Lee V. Nourse

August 17, 1939 - January 12, 2019

Age 79, of Lamont, passed away on January 12, 2019 at home under the loving care of his family.

He was born August 17, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Penn., son of the late Victor and Mildred Rush Nourse. Lee was involved in sales for many years with various area businesses. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.

Lee was an avid hunter. He enjoyed camping, trips to Rushford Lake and spending time with his family. In earlier years Lee was a Boy Scout leader and was a former member of the Warsaw Kiwanis Club, the Warsaw Fire Department and the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Surviving are his wife of thirty-nine years, Cathy Goff Nourse whom he married on December 14, 1979; his children, Shaun (Laurie) Nourse of Nunda, Sherrel (Greg) Meeder of Dale, Sharise (Steve) Heenan of Whispering Pines, North Carolina, Shelly Nourse of Lilburn, Georgia, Scott (Annie) Gebel of Herndon, Virginia, Justin (Tiffany) Nourse of Smithville, Tenn.; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his siblings, Diane (Bill) Thrush of Brookville, Penn., Bruce (Linda) Nourse of Florence, Kentucky, Lori (Kent) Kirchmeyer of Franklin, Ind.; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday, January 16 from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Lee?s funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 17 at 1 PM. Burial will be in Delevan Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pike Rescue Squad, Pike, NY 14130.
