Kenneth Illerbrun

Age 83, of Park Rd. West, Castile, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2015 at Eastside Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

Kenneth was born June 13, 1932 in Spokane, WA, son of the late Joseph and Edith Westgate Illerbrun. He was a lifelong farmer that included working at Wiscoy Farms for 18 years. Kenneth also worked for A&A Metal Fabricating in Perry for 7 years before he retired at age 62. He was a member of the Castile United Church of Christ and a volunteer firefighter for the Pike Fire Department for 18 years.

Kenneth enjoyed woodworking, hunting, gardening and word searches.

Kenneth was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara (Tom) Gausman; a son, Bernard Illerbrun and his wife; his 5 sisters and his 3 brothers.

He?s survived by his wife of 56 years, Jeweldine Cooper Illerbrun; his daughters Patricia and spouse, Edith Illerbrun, Donna (Mike) Lowden, and Amy Illerbrun; his sons, Kenneth (Sally) Illerbrun, David (Barbara) Illerbrun, Gary (Joanne) Illerbrun, and Alan (Stacey) Illerbrun; 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 14 from 11-2 PM at Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile where his funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 2 PM. A private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Castile United Church of Christ, 4 Washington St., P.O. Box 512, Castile, NY 14427.
