Helen Miller

April 16, 1930 - January 23, 2019

Age 88, of Warsaw, passed away on January 23, 2019 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born April 16, 1930 in Ellisburg, NY, daughter of the late Asa and Evelyn Sergant Berry. Helen was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, playing cards, watching tv and was a fan of the New York Yankees.

Helen is predeceased by her first husband, Leland Amend, Jr., as well as her second husband Edward Miller. She is also predeceased by a son, David Amend; her brother, Leonard Berry and two sisters, Mary Taylor and Grace Corey.

Helen is survived by her children, Sandy (Joe) Zarcone of Lockport, Susan Gillette of Brockport, Don (Bonnie) Amend of LeRoy, Denise (Steve) McMaster of Warsaw, Dale Amend of Pavilion, Scott Amend of Macedon and Ricky Tiede who was like a son to Helen. She is also survived by her sister, Hazel Petersen of Henderson Harbor, NY; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made in Helen?s name to the Wyoming County Nursing Facility, 400 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
