Alice M. Palumbo

June 10, 1922 - August 20, 2019

Age 97, of Warsaw, passed away on August 20, 2019 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born June 10, 1922 in Stockton, KS daughter of the late James and Albina Truhlar Ruzicka. Alice worked for many years in quality control for the former Mallory Timers Company in Warsaw prior to her retirement in 1984.

Alice was a longtime member of St. Michael’s Church in Warsaw. She enjoyed gardening, shopping and traveling with her late husband, Ross.

Alice was predeceased by her husband, Ross Palumbo who died in 2007.

Surviving are her son, John Palumbo of Castile; her daughter, Patricia Ballard of Warsaw; grandson, Brian Palumbo; her sister, Mary Waggoner of Portland, OR; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ruth Hunter, Elizabeth Eichenberger, Stanley Ruzicka and James Ruzicka.

Friends may call Tuesday, August 27 from 5 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Alice’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 7 PM. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.

Pat and John-  so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I have fond memories of her when I visited your home on Wyoming street years ago. We are mourning our dear brother Ron at this time also. So sad for all. My prayers are with you.
