Our sincere sympathy to the family of Bill West. He must have been a remarkable, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather as I have had the pleasure of knowing his daughter and grandchildren and they are a true example of a great upbringing. The love they had for him was shared in many ways. May Bill rest in peace and may the family be comforted by the beautiful memories they have had through the years.
Jan 17.12 from Dave and Sally Simmons:
Our condolences go out to Bills family. Bill was a very caring and giving person. He did much for the residents of Portageville (as highway superintendent), always there for us, he did an outstanding job. A life long member of the Fire Co. and long time fire chief. Under his direction the dept. was successful and great. Bill was the Genesee Falls Fire Co. We have lost a great person.
