The vivid memories of my grandfather are span over a decade, from riding his bicycle backwards to gifting me a 1964 minibike to fix up and call my own. I’ll miss him greatly, however remember him dearly.

Although I didn’t have the opportunity to spend as much time as I would have hoped to, I have learned in the short time span that you were a very loving, determined and strong man. You have touched the hearts of many and you will always be missed.

Sep 4.11 from Nick Herman:
Some of my fondest memories are driving into Warsaw and coming across you having your morning coffee at McDonalds; sharing your passion for tractors and how you would always take interest in the toys I brought over. I laugh every time I think about you scooting around on my little Honda dirt bike. I feel blessed for having an opportunity that many others don’t have, the opportunity to interact, learn and share things with someone who has experienced so much in a lifetime. I love you and will never forget.

My wish for is that you are once again able to tinker wth your tractors with your brother close by...he's been missing your help. We will be the ones missing you now,but are comforted by knowing you are in a better place. Put down your tools once in awhile & ride your bike backwards as that's how we will be thinking of you! All my love.
