Age 88, of Buckland Ave., Perry, died January 18, 2010 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born January 7, 1922 in Castile, daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth Higgins Beaumont. She was employed for many years as a clerk at the former Nighty Night Outlet Store in Perry. Mrs. Carberry was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling. She was accomplished at refinishing and caning furniture and enjoyed collecting Perry, NY memorabilia.
Surviving are her daughter, Eleanor (Kenneth) Wagner of Perry; her son, Fletcher (Shireen) Carberry of Illinois; her sister, Betty J. Beaumont of Marilla; her grandson, Joseph Carberry; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Eugene, Robert, Seymour and Herman Beaumont.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 PM at Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile. Burial will be in Leicester Cemetery, Leicester.
