Age 47, of Maple St., Silver Springs, NY, died September 6, 2009 at the Wyoming Co. Comm. Hospital in Warsaw.
He was born June 14, 1962 in Bellflower, Calif., son of the late Stephen Gerasimchik and Theda Stowe Gerasimchik of Silver Springs. He was a graduate of Letchworth Central School Class of 1980 and was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Gerasimchik was employed as a corrections officer for 24 years and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was currently serving at Livingston Correctional Facility in Sonyea. He enjoyed classic automobiles and cooking and spending time with his family. Tim was a member of the Bates-Courtney Post American Legion in Silver Springs.
Surviving along with his mother are his wife, Sandra Patrick Gerasimchik, whom he married on July 20, 2002; his daughter, Courtney Gerasimchik of Silver Springs; his son, Donald Gerasimchik of Silver Springs; his step son, Jacob Molbert of Silver Springs; his brothers, Stephen (Christie) Gerasimchik of Barrington, NH, Matthew (Peaches) Gerasimchik of North Chili, NY; his mother-in-law, Peggy Patrick of Alvarado, TX; his brothers-in-law, Tom (Mary) DeSalvo of Dansville, Greg (Janice) Sicurella of Mt. Morris; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may call Wednesday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held Thursday at 3 PM. I have just today learned about Tim's passing. Although it has been many years since seeing Tim last,I remember Tim being a great guy and welcoming me into the community when I had begun school with him at Letchworth during his senior year.
