Tom was a great man. How many men do you know that can take some one else's child and treat them like one of his own. That is what he did for me and made me feel very special. He was one of a kind.

Oct 18.11 from Daeann Hoad:
Crystal,
We are so sorry to hear about your father. I am a regular at Save A Lot and it just won't ever seem the same not walking in there and see Tom around or outside with a friendly smile. I was in total shock when my son told me the news, always hold the memories close and dear and they will help carry you through. I'll never forget his most recent act of kindness at the store when I asked to order 17 bags of salt potatoes for my son's grad. party and he said he wasn't trying to steal my money and let him order me 50 lb bag of B potatoes, they were the same thing...I thought that was just the nicest act of kindness. He saved me so much money on them....was very nice. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers! The Hoad Family
