Feb 8.12 from Joanne Crosman:
Stuart was a one of a kind bright, witty, insightful storyteller that I have always been greatful for having crossed paths with. His knowledge was always appreciated on the "FMHA Committee", but it was his capacity to "tell a tale" that was the real gem. He lived life to the fullest, and will not be soon forgotten.

Feb 3.12 from Adrianna Seewaldt:
Grandpa Nevinger! I wish I had been able to make it to the last time I would have been able to really say goodbye to you. BUt as we all know you would have wanted me to finish the exchange year I started and come visit you when I come home. You will be greatly missed by many and loved by all. And as long as I have a heart that can feel anything at all, I'll see you as clear as daylight. My grandpa, alive. One day I'll fly away too. But until then enjoy all of the young "heffers" and "fillies" waiting for you up there in heaven. I love you grandpa!

Feb 1.12 from Lois Nevinger Golbeck:
To me this feels like sort of an end to an era of Nevingers and farming. Even though Dad has been gone for many years and Stuart has been retired from farming for a long time, it still feels like the connection to the farm and growing up days will be gone now. I am glad I was able to come up and see Stuart over the years while he felt good and listen to his many stories. My thoughts and love are with all of you.

Jan 31.12 from Jim Gerrard:
My deepest sympathies to the entire Nevinger family. Stuart was a great man, and when I used to deliver fuel to his house he would always take the time to talk. I know in my heart that God welcomed him home to heaven.

Jan 31.12 from Sharon (Clark) True:
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember so many time of my Mom and Dad speaking of Mr. Nevinger. It was always good. I only met him a few times but the way he was described was true. A true farmer. Your could tell by his handshake. A hard worker but a big guy with a heart to match. You do not find to many like him around any more and that is a shame. We could all learn from people like him. Dad worked for Stuart in his younger years and that is where he got his knowledge to farm on his own. He will be missed by many and will always be close to your hearts.

Jan 31.12 from Tom Nevinger:
Obituary is certainly a beautiful tribute to a great uncle. So many memories of growing up across the street come to mind now. So glad that we were out to see him just a month ago when he still was doing good.
