Age 93, of Sodom Rd., Wethersfield, died May 5, 2011 at the Wyoming County Nursing Home in Warsaw.
She was born April 27, 1918 in Buffalo, NY daughter of the late Michael and Pearl Kawalewski Newman. She was predeceased by her husband Richard who died in 1959.
Surviving are her son, Michael (Christine) Slater of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Michele (Christopher) Hafke, Michael R. Slater, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Robert Hafke, Michael Slater III, Brianna Hafke, Nathan Slater, Ryan Slater, Amanda Hafke.
There are no calling hours. Services are private. Burial will be at a later date in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg. Arrangements were completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
