Ronald J. “Ringo” Wilcox

January 4, 1951 - October 28, 2016

Age 65, of Warsaw passed away peacefully at his home on October 28, 2016 under the loving care of his family and hospice.

He was born January 4, 1951 in Warsaw, son of the late Henry and Agnes Carlson Wilcox. Ron attended Wyoming Central School for many years and graduated from Warsaw Central School. He was a proud veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. Ron was employed for many years as a truck driver for the New York State Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Wyoming County Veterans Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are his children, Shane Wilcox of Warsaw, Rachel Miller of Warsaw; grandchildren, Aaron and Ayden; his sisters, Diane Hattala of Warsaw, Janet (Leslie) Meehan of Tulsa, OK and a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Henry I. Wilcox.

At Ron’s request, there are no calling hours and services were private. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
