Age 65, of Route 19, Gainesville, NY, died July 15, 2010 at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester.
He was born July 29, 1944 in Rochester, son of the late Walter Sickles and Geraldine Benjamin Sickles of Port Richey, FL. He owned and operated a dairy farm in Gainesville for many years. Mr. Sickles was a member of Farm Bureau and had a life long love of farming. He also enjoyed attending and being involved with the Wyoming County Fair.
Surviving along with his mother are his wife of 43 years, Sandra Smith Sickles; his sons, Eric (Shelly Skinner) Sickles of Pike, Mike (Melanie) Sickles of Silver Springs, Scott (Brandi Little) Sickles of Warsaw; his brother, Ronald (Mary) Sickles of West Chazy, NY; his sister, Shirley (Mark) Collins of Duluth, MN; his grandchildren, Sean Sickles, Rachael Sickles, Devin Sickles, Kameron Sickles; step grandchildren, T.J. Buck, Kiyria Buck, Abbey Buck; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday 3 – 7 PM at Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile where a service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7 PM.
