Phyllis I. Stack

April 8, 1934 - December 4, 2011

Age 77, of Williamson, NY, formerly of Warsaw, died December 4, 2011 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester.

She was born April 8, 1934 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy Mummery. Phyllis worked for over 40 years with knitting mills in Warsaw, Darien and Attica before retiring as a supervisor. She was an outdoors person who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and skeet shooting and she was an avid country music fan.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Stack who died in 2005.

Surviving are her daughters, Debra (Chris) Glinski of Sodus, Cheryl (Dave) Whiting of Williamson, Audrey Sachanowski of Silver Springs, Laurie Newman of North Tonawanda; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her brothers, Stanley Mummery of Wyoming, NY, Ronnie (Florence) Mummery of South Carolina; her sisters, Shirley Rider of Curriers, Sylvia (Herb) DeGroff of Leicester.

Friends may call Monday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 and Tuesday 2 – 4 at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held immediately following calling hours on Tuesday at 4 PM. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626.
