Peter R. Rogowski

May 15, 1942 - April 2, 2010

Age 67, of Route 19, Silver Springs, died April 2, 2010 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

He was born May 15, 1942 in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Peter J. and Mary G. Palermo Rogowski. Peter was employed as a carpenter for 38 years with Mosler CSD in Buffalo and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union in Buffalo. He retired in 2000. He was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Silver Springs and was an avid bowler. Mr. Rogowski was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam era.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Mary Lewandowski Rogowski, whom he married on September 1, 1973; his brothers, William (Corrine) Rogowski of Alden, John (Debbie) Rogowski of West Seneca; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Minger of Savannah, GA, Blanch (William) Mull of Bloomingdale, OH, Frances (Jeff) Hutchison of Amsterdam, OH, Evelyn Eddy of Lancaster, OH; 2 nieces and 13 nephews; 10 great nieces and 6 great nephews.

Friends may call Monday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Silver Springs. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Warsaw. A veteran’s memorial service will be held Monday at 5:45 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2805 Wehrle Dr., Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221-7380 or masses may be offered for the repose of his soul.
