Norma F. Bookmiller

December 23, 1925 - May 10, 2011

Age 85, of Summit Avenue, Warsaw, died at home on May 10, 2011.

She was born December 23, 1925 in Warsaw, the only child of the late Herbert and Doris Kelsey Fisher. Norma was a graduate of Warsaw High School Class of 1943. Following high school, she worked as a telephone operator for the former Rochester Telephone Company. She then worked for many years as a pharmacy technician at Sinclair’s Pharmacy in Warsaw. Norma worked for a brief period as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid prior to her retirement in 1987.

Norma was a member of the Women of the Moose in Warsaw and Silver Lake Country Club. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed round dancing and square dancing with her late husband, George Bookmiller who died in 1996.

Surviving are her sons, Gary (Janet) Bookmiller of Chandler, AZ, Paul (Carol) Bookmiller of Rochester.

Friends may call Sunday, May 15 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held Monday, May 16 at 10 AM. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Warsaw Rescue Squad, PO Box 22, Warsaw, NY 14569.
