Mary S. Rugh

November 17, 1955 - March 7, 2017

Age 61, of Silver Springs, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at her home from pancreatic cancer with her husband and son at her bedside.

Mary’s belief in her savior, the Lord Jesus Christ claimed victory over this illness with a strong peace.

Mary was born on November 17, 1955 in New Kensington, PA, daughter of the late Merle and Cecilia Hoak. Mary worked as a medical assistant at the Castile Medical Center in Castile, NY. Before moving to New York, she worked at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Delmont, PA. She was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Silver Springs.

Mary is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Randy; three sons, Alan (Janel) Larimer, Jr. of Rochester, PA, Patrick (Jen) Larimer of Erie, PA, Gregg Larimer of Clarksburg, PA; stepson, Jarrod Rugh of Saltsburg, PA; sisters, Bridget (Mario) Cecchehi of Pennsylania, Lilly (Larry) Waltenbaugh of Pennsylvania, Amelia (John Paul) Hoak of South Carolina; brothers, Merle (Edie) Hoak, Charlie (Charlene) Hoak, Michael (Robin) Hoak all of Pennsylvania; four granddaughters; two grandsons; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; valued friends, Rev. John and Cathy Shearing who Mary considered family.

Friends may call Saturday, March 11 from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Letchworth New Life Fellowship Church, 2 N. Main St., Silver Springs where Mary’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 2 PM. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
