Mary Joyce Lanpher

January 27, 1947 - July 16, 2018

MARY JOYCE LANPHER

Age 71, of Castile, passed away on July 16, 2018 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born January 27, 1947 in Franklin, Penn., daughter of the late Elmer and Marie MacElroy Bechtel. Joy was a graduate of the Elohim Bible Institute in Castile and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Castile. Joy’s grandchildren were the love of her life and she loved spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, Joy was predeceased by her son, Michael Lanpher, Jr., her stepmother, Doris Bechtel and siblings, Elmer “Butch”, Bill, Ruth, Judy and Cindy.

Surviving are her husband, Michael Lanpher, whom she married on July 28, 1972; her son, Brian Lanpher of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Katie Ann and Sara Marie; her siblings, Tim (Mabel) Bechtel of Emlenton, Penn., James (Donna) Bechtel of Cranberry, Penn., Donna (Paul) Card of Emlenton, Penn., Betty (Leroy) Hurrelbrink of Emlenton, Penn., Janet Whitefleet of Eau Claire, Penn.; many nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International, PO Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251 or Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Elm & Carlton Sts., Buffalo, NY 14263. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
