Mary I. Weber

May 19, 1924 - March 5, 2018

Age 93, of Middlebury, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Buffalo General Hospital on March 5, 2018.

Mary was born May 19, 1924 in Pearl Creek, NY, daughter of the late William and Ruth Perkins Griffith. Mary was married to her husband, Kenneth H. Weber for 72 years whom she was still in love with until death. Mary was a loving mother and wife devoted to her children and home.

She was a beautician during WWII while her fiancé, Kenneth was overseas.  Mary also enjoyed singing 40’s songs.

Mary is predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis Johnson, and brothers, Roger (Cecilia) Griffith, Robert (Shirley) Griffith, John Paul Griffith.

Mary is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children, Carol (William) Bradley of Pavilion, Charles Weber of Wyoming, Joanne (John Fore) Cox of Batavia; sister, Barbara (the late Neil) Moag of Pearl Creek; brothers, James (Polly) Griffith of Canandaigua, Thomas (Sharon) Griffith of OH, Michael (Patricia) Griffith of Warsaw; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 3-6 PM at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Mary’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 6 PM. Burial will be held at Wyoming Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Wyoming Hook & Ladder, PO Box 36, Wyoming, NY 14591 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
