Lana C. Herrmann Rawleigh Schoenthal

June 25, 1918 - June 12, 2011

Age 92, a resident of the LeRoy Village Green, formerly of Warsaw, died June 12, 2011 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

She was born June 25, 1918 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Michael and Mermie Zeliff Herrmann. Lana was employed for many years as a clerk at the former Variety Store in Warsaw and she also worked in food service at the Wyoming County Community Hospital for several years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw and was a former member of the Centennial Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

Lana was predeceased by her first husband, Warren Rawleigh who died in 1974 and her second husband, Lester Schoenthal who died in 2001.

Surviving are her daughters, Wilma Rawleigh Gleason of Short Tract, Patricia (Gary C.) Rawleigh Brockel of East Bethany; her step son, Bruce Schoenthal of Wellsville; her step daughter, Sandra Schoenthal of Deer Park, WA; her grandchildren, Rodney Gleason, Gary Warren Brockel, Tarry Fluker and great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late John Herrmann, Kenneth Herrmann, Francis Herrmann, Mermie Herrmann Lemley and Marian Herrmann Akins.

Friends may call Wednesday 2 – 4 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held immediately following calling hours at 4 PM. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter in memory of Lana. Online condolences at http://www.robinsonandhackemer.com.
