Kathryn L. Browne

October 1, 1951 - September 29, 2018

Age 66, of Silver Springs, NY, passed away on September 29, 2018 at her home under the care of her loving family and hospice.

She was born October 1, 1951 in Bartlettsville, Okla., daughter of the late Clinton and Gladys Sprague Browne. Kathryn was employed as a certified nurse’s aide for forty years. She worked at many area health care facilities with the former Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility being her primary place of employment for many years. While Kathryn loved her work, she also enjoyed dancing, going to yard sales, tending her garden and going to bingo.

Surviving are her children, Jamie (Linda) Schery of Pike, Tracia (Jeremy) Schery of Silver Springs, Nathan (Diana) Schery of Hume; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her siblings, Norma Chagunon of Poland, Maine, Rebecca Rand of Presque Isle, Maine, Lloyd “Skip” Perkins, Jr. of Tennessee. She was the sister of the late Robert L. Browne, Sr.

At Kathryn’s request, there are no services. A time of remembrance will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Sully and the Ladies in Pink, 9605 Nunda-Dalton Rd., Dalton, NY 14836 or HomeCare & Hospice, 450 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
