John Michael Gill

October 24, 1962 - March 4, 2011

Age 48, of S. Main St., Perry, died March 4, 2011 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, following a lengthy illness.

He was born October 24, 1962 in Warsaw, son of the late Samuel W. Gill and Harriett Barber Gill of Perry. He was trained in mechanics and plumbing and heating and was employed as a handyman prior to his illness.

Surviving along with his mother are his sister, Barbara (Randy) Knowles of Perry; his brother, James (Barbara) Gill of Wallingford, CT; nieces, nephews and great nephews.

Friends may call Sunday 11 AM – 12:45 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. A service will be held Sunday at 1 PM at First United Methodist Church of Perry. Private burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry. Memorials may be made to Wyoming County SPCA, 808 Creek Rd., Attica, NY 14011 or Angel Action, 6470 Route 20A, Perry, NY 14530 or to the family.
