Age 80, a resident of the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw, died March 6, 2010 at the nursing facility.
He was born January 19, 1930 in Freedom, NY, son of the late Wesley and Esther Fisher Johns. John owned and operated John Johns Siding for 40 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #560 in Warsaw. John was predeceased by his first wife, Penny in 1987 and by his second wife, Luise in 2001.
Surviving are his brothers, Stanley (Patricia) Johns of Fillmore, Donald (Pat) Johns of Gainesville; his sister-in-law, Ola Johns of Warsaw; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday 12 – 2 PM & 4 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7 PM. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Office of Development, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136-1494.
