Age 77, of Linwood Ave., Warsaw died February 4, 2010 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.
He was born December 18, 1932 in Batavia, NY, son of the late Albert and Mildred Wells. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Mr. Wells was employed for many years at various area farms. He had a life long passion for farming and following his retirement, he enjoyed spending days cutting his son Chuck’s lawn. He was a member of the Perry Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Carol Cortright Wells, whom he married on September 27, 1957; his sons, John Wells of Perry, Charles Wells of Perry, David (Laura) Wells of North Carolina; his daughters, Darlene (Bruce) Humel of Gainesville, Arlene Lapiana of Perry; his brother, George Wells of Corfu; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Harley Wells and Ralph Wells.
Friends may call Sunday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held Monday at 11 AM. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica. Online condolences at http://www.robinsonandhackemer.com.
