Janet V. Biscaro LaWall

January 5, 1925 - June 29, 2017

Age 92, of Bliss, NY passed away on June 29, 2017 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born January 5, 1925 in Medina, NY daughter of the late Anthony and Eloise O’Donnell. Janet was the valedictorian of the Medina High School Class of 1942. She was a graduate of the Millard Fillmore Hospital School of Nursing in Buffalo and then served as a nurse at Millard Fillmore Hospital. Janet worked for almost thirty years as a registered nurse at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw prior to her retirement.

Janet was a longtime member of the former St. Joseph’s Church in Bliss. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed helping raise horses with her daughter, Polly.

Janet was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Biscaro who died in 1965 and by her second husband, Everett LaWall who died in 1977.

Surviving are her children, Donna Workman of Katy, TX, Jean (Paul) Conklin of LeRoy, Eric Biscaro of Batavia, Toni Bower of Biloxi, MS, Polly (Ken Stoffer) Biscaro of Bliss; stepchildren, Olga Linneborn of Sun City, AZ, Lorraine Stark of New York, Primo (Alice) Biscaro of Warsaw, Yolanda Ganeski of Ohio; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; her sister, Christine O’Donnell of Virginia. Janet was the mother of the late Jeffrey Biscaro, stepmother of the late Rex Biscaro, Joseph Biscaro, Jr., Ronald Biscaro and Rena Pedziwater and sister of the late Athlene Patelaki.

There are no calling hours. Services are private. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
