Age 73, of Route 19A, Silver Springs, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw following a year long illness.
She was born August 2, 1936 in Worcester, MA daughter of the late Clifton J. and Eula Warren Bassett.
Mrs. Jaggard was a member of the Mt. Morris Legion Auxiliary where she crocheted many lap robes for veterans. She was well known for her crochet work.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, James E. Jaggard; her daughters, Deborah (Ken) Blaszak, Roberta (Dean) Kaczmarek; her sons, James D. Jaggard, David D. Jaggard and Daniel J. Jaggard; her grandchildren, Tonya, Brianne and Kenneth Blaszak, James “Jimmer” and Ben Jaggard, Samantha Kaczmarek, Tyler and Katlyn Jaggard; her brother, Kenneth (Frances) Bassett of Worcester, MA; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harvey and Sheila Jaggard of Perry; many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Silver Springs Rescue Squad, Silver Springs, NY 14550 or the American Cancer Society, 101 John J. Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228-1198.
