Age 76, of Linwood Ave., Warsaw, died August 14, 2009 at her home under hospice care.
She was born November 23, 1932 in Wethersfield, NY, daughter of the late Eugene and Anna Decker Courtox. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church in Warsaw and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are her children, Mary Ann (Dean) Manning of Max Meadows, Virginia, Diana Merrill of Silver Springs, NY, Sue (Kevin) Tucker of Arcade, Clifford “Butch” Mower of Warsaw, Ray (Donna) Mower of Warsaw, Melody (Guy) Brunner of Warsaw, Roxane (Sean Beagle) Mower of Bliss, Joe (Dawn) Mower of North Pole, Alaska; her sisters, Martha Morse of Warsaw, Rose (Bernard) Standish of Warsaw, Mary Prince of Warsaw; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was grandmother of the late Jeremy Orban; sister of the late Louis Courtox, Eugenie Park, Belle Ackerman, Edna Rosborough, Ruth Howard and beloved companion of the late Donald Perkins.
A memorial mass will be held Friday, May 7 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael’s Church, Warsaw. A rosary in Hellen’s memory will be recited at 9:30 AM at the church and a reception will be held at the parish hall immediately following the mass.
